Fair Labor Practices

Fair LaborFair employee practices and successful business go hand in hand.

Why do we practice Fair Labor?  For Our Business

A dedicated employee with pride in his or her job can be significantly more productive than a resentful one. This is an employee who does not want a imperfect product to leave his station until the problem is resolved-no matter how minute it may seem.  Or a floor manager that is willing to stay the extra half hour at the plant to make sure the shipment gets out in time.  It’s employee that wants to earn his salary.  It’s an employee who respects his company, and a company who respects its employees.

For Our Employees

A fair salary brings satisfaction to both work and leisure.  Each sewer, floor supervisor, and project manager feels the confidence of having a great job not because of chance, but by knowing he is a great employee.  His job is secure not because he has no other choice, but because we need him, and he does not want to leave.  An employee with sufficient leisure time to enjoy weekends of relaxation with an employer understands that it is well deserved.  With hard work, diligence, and great passion, it is they who make your products happen.  We invite you to meet some of our Team Members on the following page:

For our Customers

The more information we have about the materials in a product and how they are made, the better.  As we become more conscious about our purchasing, we’ve started to raise questions about how exactly they came about.  Who wants to wear a garment made by underage labor, or sleep on a bed sheet sewn by an underpaid worker on a 18-hour shift?  A product is not just a product and the more we realize that, the faster steps will be taken by companies to keep track of each step of production.
